Each month, our Education & Volunteer Coordinator puts together announcements, volunteer spotlights, and fun finds so volunteers can stay informed and entertained! The Volunteer Dispatch is switching to a new quarterly format. The newsletters will come out approximately every 3 months, will have more announcements and events, and contain more in-depth research for you to enjoy.

This month, Allyson presents her research on the first automobiles of Manatee County.

Cemetery Cleanup Volunteers Needed!

 

Join us for the last cemetery cleanup of the season on Thursday, May 25th and Friday, May 26th.
Volunteers will learn how staff maintains the 1850 Manatee Burying Ground, and will have the opportunity to assist us with the cleaning of graves. Hands-on training is provided by staff.
