Monday - Friday, 2nd/4th Saturdays of the month

9 AM - 4 PM

Manatee Village will be closed on Monday, September 5, in observance of the holiday.
 

Closed on holidays and their associated weekends.

We may be closed at other times due to inclement weather.

About Us

 

Our mission is to preserve and share the heritage of Manatee County's founding period (1840-1918).

With free admission and 14 points of interest, this is a great way to learn about the history of Manatee County and Old Florida long before paved roads and electricity.

We are located at 1404 Manatee Avenue East
(SR 64), Bradenton, FL 34208


Our entrance is on 14th Street East 

(see map below)

Just look for "Old Cabbage Head," 

our 1913 Baldwin Locomotive,

welcoming visitors to the museum.

Cost

Admission is FREE! Donations welcome. In the Wiggins Store, you may donate with cash or donate online.
 




Certain special events require an admission fee.

Manatee Village Historical Park is primarily accessible for differently-abled individuals. Due to the historic nature of our buildings, visitors may be offered an alternative experience.
