Manatee Village Historical Park Turns 50!

July marks 50 years since the 1976 Bicentennial movement that inspired the creation of historical organizations, preservation societies, and open-air museums just like Manatee Village Historical Park. To celebrate both anniversaries with YOU, our community, Manatee Village Historical Park is inviting you to their

“50 Years at the Village” celebration event on July 11th from 10 am – 2 pm.

Please note that on the day of the event, we will operate under modified hours of 10 AM–2 PM instead of our usual hours of 9 AM–4 PM.

Manatee Village Historical Park is part of the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Historical Resources Department. This program is offered in conjunction with the Manatee County Historical Commission, Inc.

 

About the Clerk’s Office

The Clerk of Circuit Court was established as a public trustee by the Florida Constitution in 1838. The Clerk of the Circuit Court serves as the Clerk of Courts, the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, Auditor, Recorder, and Custodian of all County Funds. In Manatee County, the Clerk’s office also administers a local child support enforcement program, violence protection advocacy program, Manatee Teen Court, and the preservation of historical resources through its historical resources department.
