Manatee Village Historical Park Turns 50!

This July marks 50 years since the 1976 Bicentennial movement that inspired the creation of historical organizations, preservation societies, and open-air museums just like Manatee Village Historical Park. To celebrate both anniversaries with YOU, our community, Manatee Village Historical Park is inviting you to their

“50 Years at the Village” celebration event on July 11th from 10 am – 2 pm.

Manatee Village Historical Park is excited to host a build contest in celebration of our 50th anniversary!

Take inspiration from one of the historic buildings on our site to craft a 3-D model using a medium of your choice. Open to all ages!

Vow Renewal Ceremonies

During the 50 Years at the Village celebration event, vow renewals will take place in the historic 1887 Church. Registered couples will receive a reserved 15-minute ceremony window and a commemorative ceremony certificate. Registration and fees are required to book your time slot. There are only 8 available time slots, Book your time slot TODAY!

Manatee Village Historical Park is part of the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Historical Resources Department. This program is offered in conjunction with the Manatee County Historical Commission, Inc.

 

About the Clerk’s Office

The Clerk of Circuit Court was established as a public trustee by the Florida Constitution in 1838. The Clerk of the Circuit Court serves as the Clerk of Courts, the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, Auditor, Recorder, and Custodian of all County Funds. In Manatee County, the Clerk’s office also administers a local child support enforcement program, violence protection advocacy program, Manatee Teen Court, and the preservation of historical resources through its historical resources department.
