Manatee Village Historical Park would like to introduce our new staff member:
Juliana Laney, Visitor Services Coordinator
Laney has been working hard since she was only 15 years old, even taking online classes so she had more time to work and volunteer. She was born in Miami and completed Baking & Pastry courses as a teenager. Laney has previously worked in a kitchen for a Zen Retreat Center and for two National Parks. She’s even pilgrimaged across northern Spain and has lived in California and New Mexico.
Juliana says she is happy to be in the area! She and her husband came here to be closer to family. When she isn’t greeting our visitors with a warm smile, she is putting her Esthetician License to use by developing her own skincare business. When asked why she wanted to work at our museum, Laney said, “I’ve always been fascinated with local history!” Juliana enjoys Zen and Buddhist philosophy, horticulture, backpacking, and everything Disney.
Contact Juliana for questions or concerns about our visiting hours, our pamphlets and maps, or about our gift shop.
