Manatee Village Historical Park will be participating in Manatee Heritage Days, a month-long celebration of Manatee County’s heritage, in March of 2022. Activities will include guided tours of the historic buildings at Manatee Village and the 1850 Manatee Burying Ground.

Manatee Village Site Tours: Take a trip back in time and experience the pioneering spirit of early settlers in this area on a FREE hour-long guided tour of Manatee Village Historical Park. Tours will begin at 10 AM and will be available on select days February 28–March 18, 2022. Space is limited to only ten (10) slots per tour.
Cemetery Tours: Explore different facets of Manatee County's history on a FREE hour-long guided tour of the 1850 Manatee Burying Ground. Tours will begin at 10 AM and will be available on select days March 21 – April 1, 2022. Space is limited to only sixteen (16) slots per tour.
The public will have the chance to register in advance for these guided tours with a member of staff. To create a unique experience, each tour is different depending on the staff member. Guided tours are FREE but advance reservations are required.
Appropriate clothing and footwear is encouraged for all tours. Tours take place outside during daylight hours with natural elements and will include long periods of standing and walking, uneven ground, and exposure to sunlight and rain. At staff discretion, tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Rain dates will not be offered in the event of a cancellation.

Manatee Village Historical Park is located at 1404 Manatee Avenue East (State Road 64), Bradenton, Florida. Please note that the Burying Ground does not have pathways and getting to it requires crossing a street and maneuvering two curbs.
